A Horse Tale - The Big Move
A Horse Tale rescue will be moving at the end of May and needs your help to cover the costs.
Our current lease is up with no chance for renewal. We've found a new location; a cow barn right up the street...but it's going to need a LOT of work to get it ready for horses and it will also cost quite a bit more.
- We will have to pay more for rent each month
- We will have to pay our own hydro electricity and heat those water buckets (horses can't drink ice cold water it's bad for them)
- We will have to convert existing standing stalls (designed for cows) to proper horse stalls (lots of lumber)
- We have to add outdoor paddock wiring
- We have to build outdoor shelters
- We have to build an outdoor and indoor goat enclosure
That's the bad news.
The good news is: we're up for the challenge!
Our group of volunteers will do all the hard work, but we still need good people like you to help us reach our goal.
ALSO - our new location will at least double in size which means we can help more horses!
All donations over 20 dollars can receive a tax receipt.
